Is there a free trial?
Yes! TimeSlice includes a full 30-day free trial with all features unlocked. No credit card required — just enter your email to download.
What happens after the trial?
After 30 days, you can purchase an annual ($99.99/year) or monthly ($9.99/month) license to continue using TimeSlice. Your data is never deleted.
Does TimeSlice work on Mac or Linux?
TimeSlice is currently Windows-only. Mac and Linux versions may be available in the future.
Does TimeSlice connect to the internet?
No. TimeSlice runs entirely on your computer. Your time entries, client names, and billing notes never leave your machine.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally in a SQLite database in your AppData folder. You can back it up, move it, or delete it anytime from the About screen.
Can I export to Clio or other billing software?
TimeSlice exports to CSV, which can be imported into Clio, LEAP, TimeSolv, and most other billing platforms. Direct Clio integration is coming soon.
Can I change the billing increment?
Yes. The default is 6 minutes (0.1 hour, the legal industry standard), but you can set it to any value from 1 to 60 minutes.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no contracts. Cancel anytime and you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
